Ahmed Omer Group (AOG) is a group of companies specialized in construction, trading, manufacturing, tourism, travel, exhibitions and technical consultancy, providing services in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The organization was established in 1974 by Mr. Ahmed Omer, as he embarked on a career changing path to become an entrepreneur and create his own business, Ahmed Omer Trading Establishment (AOT), aimed at dealing with real estate, food & beverage and other trading activities. Prior to his self-made business, Mr. Ahmed Omer served for over 25 years in teaching and educating generations of leaders and businessmen in Bahrain.
In 1976, the entity expanded to include building construction; hence the organization’s name was changed to Ahmed Omer Trading and Contracting Establishment (AOTC).
In 1988, a new sector was born in the organization, in the area of travel and tourism, better known publicly as Oasis Travel and Tourism (OTT). A few years later, Amadeus International Fairs Group (AIFG) joined the organization in 1995.
Two more additions to the organization in 2003, one being consultancy services in document management and other IT aspects, Al Hekma Technical Consultancy (HTC) and the other was aluminium fabrication for window, doors, curtain walls and cladding and other glass fabrication products, Ahmed Omer Manufacturing (AOM).
In December 2014, AOTC bought 50% of the shares of Rum Trading Company specialized in selling Sanitary Ware from Duravit – Germany and Egypt, Mixers from Hansgrohe – Germany and Tiles and Marble from Spain, Italy, Turkey, India and China
Arabian Marble & Granite (AMG), was added in 2018, for the supply and install marble and Granite tiling, cladding and other decorative work.
The latest entry was Ahmed Omer Property Development & Management (AOPDM) in 2021.
The organization is committed to quality and safety, continuously ensuring that highest safety is a priority. The group has established an independent quality assurance department and has achieved ISO 9001. A team of high standard safety officers overlook and ensure that all employees fully understand and follow procedures and work instructions, carrying out frequent internal quality and safety audits.
